To be accessible for as many people as possible, Virtual Sewing Room offers a “Pay It Forward” scheme.
The money contributed to the “Pay It Forward” pot aims to support those who may not financially be able to join a session. We hope some attendees are able to support others to join sessions, at a donation you can afford.
If you wish to contribute, simply add the 'Pay it Forward' option to your basket, at an amount you are comfortable and able to contribute. There is no pressure or expectation for anyone to do this.
There are set contribution amounts of £2.50, £5 and £10 GBP.
For those not UK based, July 2024 currency rates approximately:
USD: $3.21 / $6.42 / $12.84
EUR: €2.97 / €5.93 / €11.87
AUD: $4.91 / $9.83 / $19.64
If joining a session is not within your budget, you are eligible.
This is a no questions asked situation.
Use the code DONATED during checkout.
The code will be updated at the beginning of each month to include the donations purchased during the previous month.
eg. The total amount of Pay It Forward contributions made in January will be available to use in February.
If the code does not work, then there are no more “Pay It Forward” spaces available at the time.
