Pricing Structure

Virtual Sewing Room started in April 2023. It was free, with optional donations to cover Zoom licence.

As Virtual Sewing Room has grown, the time taken behind the scenes has grown. With this and the opportunities ahead, means I have decided to charge for attending sessions.

The costings have been based on responses to feedback in June and July. I reviewed it last week to ensure costs are fair, affordable and reflective of the services available. The costings are also reflective of the work put in by me. A lot of admin, planning and hosting, and some exciting plans in the pipeline.

The core values of VSR include inclusivity, connection and supportive. These are very important to me in all aspects of running Virtual Sewing Room, including ability to join sessions. That is why there is a free subscription option and Pay-It-Forward program.

Free

Attendees can get access to one free regular session a month with our Free Subscription.

First timers can use code NEWBIE to get access to one free session before you start paying.

Pay per session

Pay-per-Sessions are at a set cost as/when you are able to attend.

This can be done in conjunction with Free Subscription so you can enjoy one free session a month.

Subscription

For the regular attendees, there are monthly or annual options.

This does not include Sewalong or unique sessions which will be costed separately.

Sewalongs

Sewalongs and other unique sessions will be costed per session. These are not included in any subscription packages.

Pay it Forward

“Pay It Forward” pot aims to support those who may not financially be able to join a session. We hope some attendees are able to support others to join sessions, at a donation you can afford.

One free regular session a month.

Monthly Subscription - £12.50

Unlimited regular sessions a month.

Annual Subscription - £120.00
USD: $158.16 / AUD: $233.41 / EUR: €141.60*
Unlimited regular sessions for a year.

Subscriptions do not include themed Sewalongs or other unique sessions.

Pay-Per-Session

Pay-per-Sessions are at a set cost as/when you are able to attend. This can be done in conjunction with Free Subscription.

There are two costs for a “regular session” due to different length of sessions.

Pay-Per-Session - Regular Session
£5.00 for a two hour session
USD: $6.59 / AUD: $9.72 / EUR: €5.90*

Pay-Per-Session - Long Session
£10.00 for a six hour session
USD: $13.18 / AUD: $19.44 / EUR: €11.80*

First Session Free- There will be a discount code available for newbies to attend the first session for free. We know hanging out on a video call isn’t everybody’s ideal way to socialise, so give it a go.

Sewalongs

Sewalongs and other unique sessions will all be set at a pay-per-session cost.

They will be priced individually depending on duration and content.

Pay It Forward

Money contributed to the “Pay It Forward” pot aims to support those who may not financially be able to join a session. We hope some attendees are able to support others to join sessions, at a donation you can afford.

Any contributions made in one month will roll into the pot for the following month. For example, contributions made into January will be added to the February pot.
