Podgekins Doll Sewalong
A few sessions ago, we had an attendee sewing a Podgekins Doll.
I couldn’t help but think this was a GREAT idea for a sewalong, and so I got in touch with Podgekins.
You might be familiar with Paige, as a fellow sewist and great upcycler of charity finds. She launched Podgekins in 2023, despite having had the idea for a lot longer.
I got in touch with Paige and now we have a Sewalong in September - and she’ll be joining us too!
Maybe I have scrap busting on my mind, but this would be an excellent project to use up some scraps for yarn for hair and small scraps for dresses and accessories!

Who can I make them for?
If you don’t want the doll for yourself, why not make for a family member, gift to a friend, recreate a friend in doll form or donate to a charity.
Maybe a memory doll for someone no longer with you or near by? A gift for someone who might be moving away so they don’t forget you?
It is the ideal time to make some dolls, with the festive season of giving around the corner! (I refuse to say Chr****as in August).
